Why Christians are no Longer Faithful to Church Attendance (Part 1)

Our text for the next series of lessons will be from Hebrews 10:23.   Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)                           10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:                   10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

In this series of lessons we will examine reasons why Christians are no longer going to church and are no longer faithful to church attendance.

1.  They are not serving the Lord.—They feel guilty and have a bad conscience when they are around those that are serving the Lord because they know that they should be there to help out their brothers and sisters.  It pricks their conscience.

2.  They are tired of fighting.—The Christian life is a battle and some just get tired of fighting and throw up the surrender flag because it is easier, however, they usually find that they become their own worst enemy.  Now they have to fight themselves.

We shall continue in the next lesson.
