Why Christians are no Longer Faithful to Church Attendance (Part 3)

This is Part 3 on why Christians no longer go to church.   We shall start with reason number 6.                                                                                                                                      Hebrews 10:23.  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)                                                                                                                10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:                   10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

_church6.  Many of God’s people are committed to other things like their jobs, family, the opposite sex, sports, and etc. We are supposed to be committed to our Lord Jesus Christ. If you can’t make it to church because of other things then please don’t call Jesus your Lord.  ‘Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things that I say?’  Luke 6:46

7.  The love of money is probably the single most thing that keeps most Christians out of church. If the Devil wants to knock them out of going to church allhe has to do is offer them time and a half or double time. That usually works. Theymaynotbe faithful to church but you can always count on them being there for that almighty dollar!  They think they are gaining possessions but what they don’t realize is that they are losing so many other things that money just can’t buy;  joy, happiness, a clear conscience, victory, fellowshipwith otherChristians (which they need), their testimony, rewards, and if that were not enough, even their inheritance.             1 Tim.6:10

We shall continue with reason number 8.
