Our text is from Ephesians 6:12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
From verse 10 to verse 18 in the same chapter of our text there are instructions for the Christian and his warfare. It’s not easy; nevertheless we are to realize that each day we are in a battle. When you try to do right expect opposition. When you do right the Lord is pleased but the devil is not. Please try to understand this. I think many times people think that when they become Christians everything will be OK.
Not so! Enter the Battle!
You have entered the battlefield and that’s why so many Christians drop out of church because they get to tired of fighting. They feel it is easier to surrender and give up so they won’t have to fight any more battles. The problem there is that then you won’t like your self. You may then find that you will become your own enemy. There is no one more miserable than a Christian that is not serving the Lord and trying to fellowship with those that do. That is another reason why many fall out of church and quit going. They have an uneasy conscience because they know they ought to be there helping out the other brothers and sisters. So please realize that when you get saved and want to serve the Lord you will have oppositions from spiritual wickedness in high places.
Enter the Battle.
